Celebrity Apprentice has some wild challenges, and Episode 10 in Season 6 finally threw a bucks party at one of the celebrity apprentice teams.

The challenge set was for The Celebrity Apprentice teams to run their own event management company and host a hens party and bucks party Sydney Harbour cruise. While the challenge was about delivering the contractual obligations for the Apprentices, we’ll focus on the bucks party festivities (even though it’s pretty important for you to get the contracts right).

So, the big question is… did the team of celebrity apprentices give the buck – Jacob – the best time of his life before the best day of his life?

Well, Team Collaborate – Benji Marshall, Turia Pitt, Beck Zemek, and Ronnie Caceres (project manager) – won the challenge, so Lord Sugar reckons of the two teams, Team Collaborate’s Sydney Harbour Bucks Party cruise were the pick (albeit based on the contract execution, but watching the episode, we reckon the Bucks party also had the better time!).

Team Collaborate was ‘awesome’ out of the gates, with Turia dreading having the work with the rest of Team Collaborate. She is not convinced of their chances of winning under Ronnie’s leadership, “We’ve got two great people and two d—heads, so it could go either way.”

Sounds like the typical bucks party to us. The best man has no idea how they’re going to plan the bloody thing, he’s surrounded by a bunch of ‘helpers’ – some good blokes and some d—heads – and at this early stage, the whole thing could go either way. Yep. Who the f*ck knows how the whole thing is going to go down.

Benji was appointed entertainment manager, so it was his job to make sure the Sydney Harbour bucks party cruise kept the lads entertained – the best man’s best man if you will.

The Sydney Harbour Cruise bucks party gets underway

Benji was confident he knew what this crew wanted, and after giving them a rah-rah speech shortly after them boarded, a ‘Yeah the Boys!’ cheer got the party started!

Benji kicked off welcoming of the buck with a few words of advice for married life – and this is some great advice for the bucks party you’re planning, make sure you impart as much wisdom as possible. Benji’s words were:

• You’re always wrong, no matter what.
• Make sure you go out twice a week. You go Tuesday, she goes Thursday.

As the Sydney Harbour boat cruise bucks party gets going, drinks are flowing and the boys get the all important stomach liners served in the form of pork sliders. Festivities keep flowing and the boys get their tops off and guns out as they enjoy the harbour cruise.

Bucks Party Beer Pong is the first game off the rank. It’s like normal beer pong, but with one twist. If you get the ball in the cup, you can throw any insult you like at the buck – hope he packed his thick skin along with his floaties with zingers like these!

• This is something I’ve wanted to say for a very long time… You have bad breath (the buck looks shattered and self-tests his breath), and
• I hope she’s signed a pre-nup.

While ping-pong balls keep flying into red cups and insults are a-blazin’, Benji is off the make sure the next round of entertainment for this Sydney Harbour Bucks Party cruise is ready. He meets Harriett who is, in Benji’s words, the ‘tasteful dancer’. And when Benji describes the dance to Harriett as ‘the respectful-sort-a-dancing’, Benji looks uncomfortable and Harriett confused.

But, being the professional she is, she interprets it as a respectful striptease style and asks Benji to demonstrate what that looks like. Benji seems much more comfortable launching into the dance routine – Harriett suggests they swap roles and Benji be the entertainment. He ‘respectfully’ declines (thank gawd), and confesses he had ambitions to become a member of Man Power Australia after finishing up his on-filed footy career.

The scene cuts to Benji leading Harriett up the stairs to the top deck to deliver her cowgirl respectful striptease style to the buck planted on a chair centre-deck. The best man cheered and shot his water pistol into the air, the bucks party crew laughed as Harriett shot the buck with her water pistol and the adult entertainment part of the bucks party seemed to go off without a hitch.

Then Benji’s Man Power ambitions kicked in. Benji threw on the cowboy hat, wandered seductively around the groom, almost did a hammy as he tried to do the splits and then twerked his way to sit on the bucks lap. And with that, respectful was thrown overboard!

A few of the bucks party crew moved to relax with a drink in the on-board Jacuzzi while others wanted to throw themselves overboard for a dip in the harbour. Unfortunately, you can only do that in select Sydney Harbour locations. So if you want the bucks party crew to take a dip the in one of the most magnificent harbours in the world, make sure the cruise you book can accommodate this.

And would it even be a bucks party if someone didn’t go missing? Of course not, and Team Collaborate get to experience the missing bucks party guest firsthand. Luckily, boats are pretty confined spaces, so after a quick scout around the missing sailor was found.

The cruise boat motors back to the dock and the boys enjoy a few more drinks. The cruise officially ends with a bunch of confetti poppers and cheers and claps from the bucks pay crew.

Looks like a great time was had all round – looking through the lens of a highly edited TV series that is. But we’d say mission accomplished, Team Collaborate gave this buck a rockin memory for the best time of his life before the best day of his life!
