Profile
Hugh’s pre-wedding adventure had two distinct stages. The bucks party started with an adrenaline packed abseiling adventure in NSW’s Blue Mountains, followed by a quick chopper ride to kick on at one of the NSW Central Coast’s best Golf Resorts.
Bucks Parties in and around Sydney are spoiled for choice. Sydney itself has more things to do than you can poke a stick at, but sometimes you just wanna get out of the big smoke. But does going North, South, East or West give the best Sydney bucks party ideas?
For Hugh, his best man reckoned giving him the best time of his life before the best day of his life had to involve heading West to go abseiling and then North for some relaxation at a Golf Resort.
The bucks party abseiling stage looked well planned with a bunch of fellas that seem to clearly know how to dangle themselves off the side of a cliff. We’re no experts (and if you’re planning to do this, we suggest you be an expert, or call in an expert), but they appeared to have all the right gear, and confidently hiked up to ground zero and walked through the “WARNING Abseilers only beyond this gate” sign.
Harnessed up (maybe they hired an abseiling expert?), one by one the boys rappelled down Point Lookout, taking the initial lunge in their stride.
Now, for a dangerous sport like abseiling, safety is important. And it was evident that these boys wanted to make sure Hugh was visible should there be an incident. Donning on a rainbow sequin mini dress complete with a pink feather boa, pearl necklace, ball-and-chain, Hugh set a new standard for abseiling high-fashion that day.
Drones. Drones are a must at thins kind of bucks party, and these guys seemed to know how to capture some awesome aerial footage. Make sure you check out the video below to see what we mean. The Blue Mountain make for some jaw dropping group shot backdrops.
Then came the Chopper surprise. Anyone who knows Sydney would know it’s almost 2 hours from the Blue Mountains to Magenta. So not wanting to waste a single minute of the bucks party weekend, they hired a helicopter to fly them to Magenta Shores. The chopper picked the lads up from a clearing in the park and the thrumming of the blades added to the day’s adrenaline adventure as they got to the Pullman Magenta Shores Resort in next to no time.
Talk about making memories.
While the YouTube video is called part 1, it seems part 2 hasn’t made it’s way onto the interwebs just yet – which is a shame because we’d love to know what happened at the Magenta Shores Resort! Here’s hoping the next installment isn’t too far away, and the lads make good on their ‘to be continued’ promise!
