Profile
The Bread Gang are a DJ Duo that has some pretty serous experience behind the decks and at getting the party going. Their YouTube channel has some pretty crazy vids, and with more than 20m views, they produce some pretty popular content from dropping sets in Australia and around the world.
One unassuming January weekend in Cairns, the lads crashed a bucks party. And with their reputation of bringing the party to to any show they’re at, this particular set was bound to show the buck the best time of this life before the best day of his life.
The bucks party itinerary included:
- Hallway cricket
- Charter bus to get around
- Slabs of drinks from the local bottle shop
- Drinks & pool at Rattle n Hum
- Â Head dip bungy jump at Skypark Cairns
- Pub crawl down Cairns’ night-life strip
The bucks party video starts off with an Australia classic that’s been passed down from generation to generation… the hallway cricket. Now, this was usually only reserved for rainy lunchtime back when I was at school, but the crew brought some nostalgia to this bucks party and set up stumps smack-bang in the middle of that hallway. Now, if the doesn’t get the child-hood memory bank pleasure centre firing on all cylinders, I don’t know what will.
In what was probably the best decision of the party, the best man had organised a charter bus to drive the buck and his crew around Cairns for the day and night – avoiding the temptation for anyone to jump behind the wheel after having a few drinks.
And have some drinks they did! the first stop was at the local bottle shop where the crew bought themselves a few slabs to keep them sustained while on the bus between venues.
Next scene cuts to the Rattle n Hum where the buck and his crew are enjoying a few drinks and playing a few rounds of pool. The fun has started, the buck is smiling, laughter is happening, and a whole bunch of ribbing is well underway. A cheers or two, and few downing of the beers, makes sure the liquid courage is flowing thick and fast.
And the buck and Cam needed it for the next adrenaline packed Cairns bucks party activity.
Skypark Cairns provided what could be the most memorable part of this bucks party for the buck. Lets call it a look of anticipation that came across the buck’s face as he walked through the Skypark’s entry and the bungy platform came into full view. In what we’re sure were helpful works of encouragement and support from the buck’s mates, the bucks resigned to the fact that jumping from that bungy platform was on the cards fro him.
The only thing to resolve was who would jump with the buck – it’s not fair that he goes this one alone!
After a flip of the coin – and what might have been some word trickery – Cam ‘won’ the opportunity to do the bungy jump with the buck. To say he was thrilled would be a significant over statement (evidenced by watching the blood drain from his face).
The buck stepped up to the challenge without a misstep – climbing to the top platform and plunging to get the bungy jump head dip in the pool below. The earlier anxiety all but gone and replaced with a face full of smiles and laughs with the boys. That’ll be a memory he’ll take long into the world of marriage-hood.
With the adrenaline packed part of the bucks party out of the way, it was time for the bucks party pub crawl to get underway. Unfortunately, Bread Gang didn’t think the YouTube gods would allow the bucks parry pub crawl footage to be published on their platform – booooo!
So we have to settle for a quick moustache straightening as the camera cuts to black and the boys journey off into the the wilds of Cairns party district to continue to show the buck the best time of his life before the best day of his life!

The buck could hardly wipe the smile off his face after getting a bungy jump head dip! However his jump partner – Cam – thought he was going to die.
